1.What is the company doing in light of COVID-19?
Through these unprecedented times, Luxottica has adopted extensive measures to ensure the safety of its employees and their families. We are determined to maintain the same level of confidence among our customers. Today, our facilities around the world including our warehouses, labs and production plants are operational with heightened cleaning and safety protocols and following strict social distancing norms.
In India, the company is taking all reasonable efforts to comply with the safety & health guidelines issued by Government of India and local administrative bodies. Also, despite slowdown in production, we have maintained sufficient levels of inventory to meet your requirements.
2.Can COVID-19 transmit through eyes?
Current research, which is still evolving, shows that the chance of spreading the virus through the eyes is possible, but rare. Studies found only a small amount of virus in tears of infected individuals. That said, in alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), you should take all necessary precautions to avoid touching your eyes.
3.Do glasses help protect against COVID-19?
While glasses may potentially provide some protection from COVID-19, that protection is limited to the shielded area of the eye. The virus can still reach your eyes from the exposed sides, tops and bottoms of your glasses. In alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), you should take all necessary precautions to avoid touching your eyes.
4.How are the glasses cleaned/sanitized?
Clinical disinfectant, such as (0.5%) Hydrogen Peroxide solution in common water with a significant contact time, is used to sanitize each product at the time of packaging, before it is ready for shipment.
5.How should I clean my glasses in this period?
COVID-19 is thought to remain on some materials for hours or days. For this reason, it’s advisable to regularly clean your glasses. A standard hand soap or glasses cleaning spray that contains detergent should be effective at removing potentially harmful microbes. Using antibacterial products such as hand sanitizer or household cleaning spray to clean your glasses is not recommended. This is because they probably contain alcohol or chemicals that could damage the lens surface of your glasses.
6.Are your online deliveries safe to open?
When you buy online, you avoid close contact with people. Your well-being is our primary concern and here’s everything we are doing to keep our community safe.
Contactless Delivery: : All our delivery partners are advised and trained with proper sanitization and social distancing norms. To ensure safe delivery option, our customers can opt for Contactless delivery on all Prepaid Orders. You will receive a call before the package is delivered at your doorstep to reduce the risk of person to person transmission for both you and the delivery executive.
Sanitization: Frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our warehouses and other facilities has been increased. In order to maintain hygiene, we are ensuring strict protocols of frequently sanitizing or washing hands. All our employees are equipped with masks and are being trained on various best practices of respiratory hygiene and COVID-19 related facts.
Health Checkups:As per medical protocol, we enforce regular thermal screening for all the employees in the operational centers and at workstations.
7.Why COD orders are not accepted?
As an additional precaution to minimize contact, our delivery executive will not be accepting Cash/Card on Delivery. It is mandatory that you prepay while placing the order through any of the following payment options - Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, PayTM, PayU, and Amex.
8.Should I expect delays in deliveries due to the COVID-19 emergency?
Our courier service partners are using their logistics network to minimize service impacts so we can continue to deliver the best possible service to our customer. 2. Is it possible to buy corrective lenses with the Ray-Ban logo on them?
It is currently not possible to customize your Ray-Ban sunglasses with corrective lenses printed with our logo. Innovating new products & designs is a priority for Ray-Ban, therefore this may be possible in the future.

3. How much does shipping and returns cost?
Shipping and returns are completely free (In case of self-ship, please send a scan copy of the courier bill to refund the courier charges as well).
4. Can I get my money back if I am not satisfied with my purchase?
Yes, you will have 7 days after receipt of your glasses to return them and obtain a full refund or decide to replace them with an identical pair if you encounter problems See the Return Policy section for more details.

5. How do I know the right size for my sunglasses?
If you have an old pair of glasses that look good, you can easily use the measurement information stamped on them. Usually the information you need is on one of the arms or inside the bridge.
The measurements need not be exact, but the closer they are to those of your old glasses, the more the new ones will look similar on your face.
The front measurement includes the diameter of the lens and the width of the bridge measured in millimetres and usually separated by a small dash or rectangle (e.g.: 50 - 22). The lens diameter is the width of the lens, measured from the bridge, and the width of the bridge is the distance between the lenses above the nose, as shown in the figure below. Sometimes, the vertical measurement of the lens and the length of the arms are also present.
To determine the correct size of your Ray-Ban sunglasses, you need the width of the bridge, which determines how the glasses rest on your nose. But the diameter of the lens is an option of choice and is an indication of how the glasses will appear on your face.
6.There is a mistake with my order, am I able to cancel it?
Mistakes happen and we want you to be happy with your order. You can also decide to cancel the order only if the product is not invoiced ie the status of the product in that order is not marked as ‘Shipped’ in the My Accounts section. Once the product is dispatched from the warehouse, you can request a return and not cancellation.
Simply go to the Orders section under the My Account label. There you will find your existing order with the option to cancel. For your ease of use we will keep the existing details about the cancelled order incase you wish to re-order or alter it. Please note, your security is important to us and so the details stored will never include your payment information.
